We will be offering FREE additional breathing sessions, BEFORE class begins, once a week at Yoga Hot Spot.  There will always be warm up breathing and final breathing during class.  The days and times will vary.

Jim and I have had profound positive health benefits through these breathing exercises. Breathing exercises have scientifically proven that the body will become neutralized, decreasing the acid and making the systems more alkaline. With the body being more alkaline, less inflammation, less pain and less chance of viruses, disease and illness.

Here’s how it will work:

  1. Non additional breathing session days - The studio will open 20 minutes before class start time for you to set up for practice.

  2. We will always do the two breathing exercises - one in the beginning of class and one at the end.  That has not changed.

  3. Breathing session days - the studio will open 35 minutes before class start time.

  4. If you are booked on the day we will be doing the breathing exercises, you will receive a text message inviting you to arrive in the reception room 35 minutes before class start time.

  5. We will lock the door during the 10 minute breathing session and unlock the door 20 minutes before class start time.

  6. Note - if you are planning on attending the breathing session, give yourself enough time to set up in the reception room for the breathing session.

  7. You will lie down on your mat and yoga towel.

  8. Bring an extra towel to place under your head for comfort.

  9. If you do not want to join the additional breathing session being offered on that particular day, , please note the door will be locked until 20 minutes before class start time.

  10. After the additional breathing session you will head into the ashram to set up your mat.

  11. And of course take care of all business before you head in to lie in savasana.

Let me know if you have any questions.
