What you can do

  •   Please read tab marked screening questions prior to attending

    •

  • If you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to wear your mask anymore!

  • Once outside, everyone can remove their masks if you feel comfortable.

  • More on masks below.

  • *IF you have been exposed to anyone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last two weeks, had symptoms in the last two weeks, traveled a hot spot state in the last two weeks, please stay home and contact your doctor.

  • *IF you are feeling at all unwell even a bit of a cold but especially (fever, sore throat, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, unexplained muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or new loss of taste or smell) please stay home and contact your doctor. Generally we would say come and practice if you are feeling a bit under the weather but due to the recent circumstances best to stay home.

  • *IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED - please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth (doesn't need to be a surgical mask) to cover your face upon arrival, while in the reception room, as you enter the ashram and during set up of your mat/towel.  Once your mat is set up, remove your mask, place under your mat or in a small baggie.  After final savasana, put mask back on and wear until you depart the building.  Once you are outside, feel free to remove your mask.

  • *ENTRANCE/EXIT OPTIONS - to maintain social distancing, enter either from the porch or walk along the grass to the lower entrance.  Footwear left on boot trays on upper entrance or cement porch on lower entrance.  As winter arrives, the top entrance may be the only option.

  • *ORGANIC HAND SANITIZER - I will have available organic hand sanitizer on the settee on the porch before you enter, as you enter on the lower entrance and before you enter the ashram.

  • *PROPER HYGIENE - Make sure your mat, yoga mat towel and attire (to class and during class) are clean.  Most folks like to wear their yoga attire under their regular street clothes which is not a problem.  Just please make sure everything is clean prior to arriving for class.

  • *Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap prior to your journey to Yoga Hot Spot

  • *Avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes with your fingers before, during and after class.

  • *If you must bring your phone to leave in the reception room, make sure it is disinfected

  • **WE all know this is allergy season (another great way to combat your symptoms via hot yoga practice) so if you sneeze or cough, please do so into your elbow or an extra cloth . Place cloth gently on the floor, do not toss haphazardly.  (If you used a tissue, toss into the trash afterward, NOT the recycling bin).

  • *Keep eating well, getting sufficient rest, drinking plenty of water (which is a must for practicing hot yoga), and practicing hot yoga to boost your immune system

  • *If you notice symptoms associated with the COVID-19, remain home and call your doctor for medical direction.

  • *Help reduce social stigma by knowing the facts and sharing them with those you know.

  • *Above all, maintain calm, be empathetic and please do not panic . Common sense and measured responses go a long way.
